Our recreational program is designed for dancers who want to come to classes, receive the best dance training, and have the opportunity to perform for their loved ones, without any yearly commitment. ​

Classes starting as low as $36/month

We offer a wide variety of classes to suit all needs and run for a 10 month duration (September-June).

We provide ALL dancers* with two optional opportunities to perform on stage, Winter Showcase and Year-End Showcase.

Acro competitive routine Acro Classes

Acro

Acro dance is a captivating fusion of dance and acrobatics, combining the artistry of dance with the strength and flexibility of gymnastics. This style features elements such as tumbling, contortion, balancing, and jumps, all set to music. Acro dance helps dancers develop strength, flexibility, coordination, and body control, while allowing them to express themselves through movement. It blends grace and power, creating visually stunning performances that showcase athleticism and creativity.All of our acro classes are taught by instructors certified by Acrobatic Arts, and we adhere to the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus.

Competitive Ballerina Ballet Classes

Ballet

Ballet is a graceful and structured dance style that emphasizes precise movements, poise, and fluidity. Known for its formal techniques, including positions of the feet and arms, ballet incorporates elements such as jumps, turns, and extensions. It is performed to classical music and focuses on building strength, flexibility, and balance. Ballet dancers often train for many years to master the discipline’s intricate steps and techniques, which can be performed in both classical and contemporary styles. With its elegance and beauty, ballet is the foundation for many other dance forms. Our studio follows the CDTA Ballet syllabus, with a focus on Vaganova Russian Ballet technique. 

Contortion Classes

Contortion

(Specialty Class)

Contortion is a highly specialized and impressive performance art that focuses on extreme flexibility and control over the body. It involves bending, twisting, and stretching the body into unusual and often seemingly impossible shapes and positions. Contortionists train to achieve remarkable flexibility in the spine, limbs, and joints, allowing them to perform extreme movements with strength and precision. While often seen in circus performances and acrobatic acts, contortion is also practiced as part of dance and gymnastics, requiring dedication, balance, and control to safely execute the complex poses.

Hand Balancing Classes

Hand Balancing

(Specialty Class)

The Hand Balancing class focuses on developing strength, stability, and control in various handstand and balancing techniques. Students will learn the fundamentals of proper alignment, core engagement, and body positioning to hold and transition between different hand-balancing poses. This class is designed to help dancers and acrobats build the necessary strength and confidence to perform stunning, controlled handstands, as well as improve their overall balance and body awareness. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class will help you achieve better control, strength, and grace while balancing on your hands.

Hip Hop Classes

Hip Hop

Hip hop dance is a high-energy, expressive dance style that originated in the streets and urban communities, and it has since evolved into a popular form of dance worldwide. It incorporates a wide range of movements, including popping, locking, breaking, and krumping, often performed to hip hop or rap music. Hip hop dance emphasizes personal style, creativity, and rhythm, with dancers often adding their own flair to the moves. The style is known for its bold, dynamic movements and the freedom to improvise, making it both a fun and powerful way to express oneself through movement.

Jazz Classes

Jazz

Jazz dance is a dynamic and energetic style of dance that blends elements of ballet, modern, and African dance. Known for its vibrant, expressive movements, jazz dance emphasizes creativity, rhythm, and personal style. It often incorporates fast-paced footwork, leaps, turns, and isolations, with a focus on body control and fluidity. Jazz dance can be performed to a wide range of music genres, from jazz and swing to contemporary pop and musical theater, making it a versatile and exciting form of dance. Our jazz programs follows the Adapt Syllabus

Contemporary 

Contemporary dance is a versatile and expressive style that combines elements of ballet, modern, jazz, and lyrical dance. It focuses on creative movement, fluidity, and emotional expression, often exploring themes or telling a story. Contemporary dancers emphasize improvisation, body control, and the use of the floor, allowing for a wide range of movements from smooth and flowing to sharp and dynamic. This style encourages personal interpretation and innovation, making it a highly adaptable and evolving form of dance.

Lyrical Classes

Lyrical

Lyrical dance is a fusion of jazz and ballet techniques. In this class, dancers will apply the foundational principles of both styles to express emotions and tell a story through movement. Lyrical dance combines the technical precision of ballet with the dynamic energy of jazz, creating a powerful way to convey meaning and narrative through performance.

Pointe Classes

Pointe

Advance your ballet technique by learning to dance En Pointe. Focusing on strengthening and conditioning your feet and ankles, dancers will work on precision, balance, and artistry, mastering the grace and strength required for this elegant and demanding aspect of ballet.

Must be approved to be en pointe.

Stretch and Endurance Classes

Stretch and Endurance

This class is for anyone who would like to increase their strength, flexibility and range of motion. You will learn how to safely stretch your legs, hips, shoulders, back and entire body while building the muscle and balance needed to use your flexibility.

Turns and Jumps Classes

Turns & Jumps

The Jumps and Turns class focuses on developing the key skills needed for powerful jumps and precise turns in dance. This class emphasizes strength, coordination, balance, and control, helping dancers improve their technique and achieve greater height, fluidity, and accuracy in their leaps and spins. Students will work on various jump techniques, including grand jetés, sautés, and pirouettes, as well as mastering different types of turns such as fouetté and chainé. This class is ideal for dancers looking to enhance their overall performance ability, build confidence, and take their dance technique to the next level.

Tap Classes

Tap

Tap dance is a rhythmic and energetic dance style characterized by the sound of metal taps attached to the shoes, which create percussive beats as the dancer moves. It combines fast footwork, intricate patterns, and musicality, allowing dancers to express themselves through rhythm and sound. Tap dance can be performed in various styles, from Broadway-inspired routines to more classical forms. It emphasizes timing, coordination, and creativity, making it both a captivating visual and auditory performance art. All of our Tap classes follow the Adapt Tap Syllabus
