Miss Chloe

Chloe Fraser started dance when she was three years old at the Dance Factory in her hometown of Calgary, Alberta. Her love of dance grew throughout her 15 years at the Dance Factory which included 10 years in the competition program.

Chloe is trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary and musical theatre. Chloe has completed her ADAPT (Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers) Syllabus for Jazz and Tap and completed her Intermediate RAD (Royal Academy of Dance) ballet exams. Chloe has also won several awards throughout her competition career including overall tap/musical theatre award for her musical theatre trio at Champions Dance Competition. Chloe has attended dance conventions including Triple Threat and JUMP. Chloe was also fortunate to perform in DisneyLand in 2010 with the Dance Factory.

During her dance career, Chloe was a member of the Dance Factory’s STEP (Student Teacher Education Program). In STEP, Chloe assisted accredited dance instructors teach children aged 8 and under. In 2014, Chloe was a recipient of a Wild Rose Dance Arts scholarship and in 2015 she received her studio’s Team Spirit Award for Leadership and Teamwork. After completing her competition dance career, Chloe has worked for Dance Power Dance Competition and Wild Rose Dance Competition as a writer, working alongside and learning from notable professionals Liz Tookey and Kim Greco.
In addition to her dance activities, Chloe is majoring in Urban and Regional Studies at the University of Lethbridge and is entering her third year. Chloe’s most cherished dance memories are not scholarships, high marks and judges’ awards, it is the lifelong friendships she has built, the camaraderie of a studio, and the excitement of being your best. In addition to technique and skill, Chloe looks forward to instilling these values and memories in the students she teaches.

She is looking forward to working at Starbound Dance Center and excited to be part of the journey!
