Miss Cassandra began dancing at the age of 4 in Calgary, Alberta at Ultimate Dance Company later entering into their competitive program. Her passion for dance came early and has led to extensive training in Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Acro and Contemporary.

Cassandra has completed up to the intermediate level of ballet examinations through the Royal Academy of Dance. She has also competed in numerous dance competitions, receiving many awards including first overall for her modern solo two years in a row. Miss Cassandra performed with the Calgary Stampede Showband in 2016 and 2017, which gave her the opportunity to perform for crowds of over forty thousand each day at the “Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth”. She was fortunate enough to travel across the United States and most recently to Europe with Stampede Showband to attend WMC. (World Music Competition) Cassandra was also the recipient of The Band Ribbon Award her first year, which is given to an outstanding member who shows a high level of dedication and passion to the program.

Cassandra became an assistant teacher in 2012 and had the opportunity to work alongside amazing instructors and choreographers for 3 consecutive years. In later years, she began teaching both recreationally and competitively, helping students to discover their own personal love of dance.

Cassandra currently attends the University of Lethbridge pursuing a combined degree in Kinesiology and Education, entering into her second year. Cassandra is thrilled to be using her training to help inspire the next generation of dancers and help each and every student to find joy through dance.
