Miss Aideen -
Dance Teacher

I was born and raised in Calgary Alberta where early in life I found my love and passion for dance. I started dancing at Freehouse when I was only two. From there my passion grew and I went onto further my training at Airborne Dance Center. There I was able to gain an amazing foundation for dance and gain years of experience in the competition world. While dancing I have had the honour of learning from amazing teachers and choreographers, as well as experiencing the convention world. From NUVO, To The Point, Dance the Magic in Disney, and more I got to learn from world known dancers and choreographers and win scholarships that helped me grow in the dance community.

I am now in Lethbridge for School at University of Lethbridge for Business and Psychology. As well in my second year of teaching and choreographing for Starbound Dance Center. Over the last two years I have been able to grow a new passion for dance and bring all that I have been able to experience and learn to the next generations of dancers.

While dancing I trained mostly in RAD ballet earning my grade 4 to my Intermediate in examinations. Also taking classes in Cecchetti. I trained In the ADAPT syllabus for jazz and have up to my Intermediate 2 in examinations. I also trained in lyrical, contemporary, modern, hip hop, point, and bar.

As a teacher I have been gaining experience and a stronger ability to teach by gaining certifications in:

Progressive Ballet Technique
International Dance Teaching Standards Acrobatic Arts Module 1
Alixa Flexibility Module 1 and 2
CLI Certified
